Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of AlMaghrib Online, including the online learning platform, student portal, on-demand course library, and any related applications and services. By creating an account or purchasing access, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
- Parties and Definitions
“AlMaghrib Online,” “AlMaghrib,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to AlMaghrib Institute, 2323 Clear Lake City Blvd, Suite 180-290, Houston, TX 77062, United States, operator of almaghrib.online and its associated platforms.
“Student,” “Member,” “you,” or “your” refers to the individual who has created an account and whose payment method is charged.
“Content” refers to all courses, lectures, videos, audio recordings, course materials, transcripts, quizzes, and any other material made available through AlMaghrib Online.
“Account Owner” refers to the individual who created the account. The Account Owner is solely responsible for all activity on the account.
- Account Registration
To access AlMaghrib Online you must create an account using a valid email address and a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not share your account, password, or payment details with any other person. AlMaghrib Online accounts are personal and non-transferable.
You confirm that all information provided at registration is accurate and complete. AlMaghrib reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts where information is found to be inaccurate or where the account is being used in breach of these Terms.
- Subscription, Pricing and Billing
AlMaghrib Online offers subscription-based and individual course access options. Current pricing is displayed on the AlMaghrib Online website at the time of purchase. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated and are inclusive of any applicable taxes.

By purchasing a subscription you authorise AlMaghrib to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the then-current subscription price. You will receive advance notice of any price changes before renewal. |
AlMaghrib reserves the right to change subscription pricing at any time. Price changes will be communicated to active subscribers by email at least 14 days before the new price applies at renewal. Your continued subscription after notification constitutes acceptance of the new price.
- Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing online@almaghrib.org or through your account settings where available. Cancellation stops future billing. Following cancellation, your access to subscription content continues until the end of your current paid billing period, after which access will not be renewed.
Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of amounts already charged except as set out in Section 5. The cancellation of your subscription does not delete your account — your account, progress records, and any lifetime-access courses remain accessible unless you separately request account deletion under Section 13.
- Refund Policy
| ⚠️ After the initial sign-up, AlMaghrib Online payments are non-refundable. No refunds or credits are issued for partial subscription periods, unviewed courses, or unused access. No refund will be issued on the basis of missing or unreceived login details where no attempt was made to contact support before requesting a refund. |
Initial satisfaction period: if you are accessing AlMaghrib Online for the first time and are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within seven days of your initial payment by emailing online@almaghrib.org. This applies to first-time sign-ups only. Repeat subscribers, individuals accessing courses on a promotional or discounted rate, and individuals who have accessed a substantial portion of course content are not eligible for this refund.
United Kingdom — right of withdrawal: if you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital content contract within 14 days of purchase under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This right is lost once you begin accessing the digital content. By starting to access any AlMaghrib Online course or content, you expressly request that provision of the digital content begins immediately and you acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is lost from that point.
Refunds, where approved, will be processed to the original payment method within 14 working days.
- Content Licence
AlMaghrib grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and view Content for your own personal educational use only. This licence does not permit you to:
- Download, record, screenshot, screen-capture, or save any Content except through features explicitly provided by the platform
- Share, distribute, republish, sell, sublicence, or otherwise make Content available to any third party
- Use Content for commercial purposes, public performance, or professional instruction without written consent from AlMaghrib
- Remove or alter any copyright notices or proprietary markings on Content
All Content is the intellectual property of AlMaghrib Institute and its instructors. Unauthorised reproduction or distribution of Content may result in account termination and legal action.
- Account Security and Shared Access
Your account is for your personal use only. You must not share your login credentials, allow others to access your account, or use your account on behalf of any other person or organisation. AlMaghrib may monitor account activity for signs of shared or unauthorised use. Where shared access is detected, AlMaghrib reserves the right to suspend or terminate the account without refund.
If you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation, contact online@almaghrib.org immediately.
- Acceptable Use
You must use AlMaghrib Online in a manner consistent with Islamic etiquette and the educational values of AlMaghrib. You must not:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Upload, post, or transmit content that is abusive, offensive, defamatory, or harmful
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or another user’s account
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or scrape content
- Interfere with the platform’s operation or the experience of other users
- User-Generated Content
Where the platform allows you to post comments, questions, or other content in forums, discussion boards, or community features, you retain ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant AlMaghrib a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, moderate, and remove that content as necessary to operate the platform. You are solely responsible for anything you post. AlMaghrib reserves the right to remove any user-generated content that violates these Terms or the values of AlMaghrib, without notice.
- Technical Requirements and Service Availability
Access to AlMaghrib Online requires a stable internet connection and a compatible device and browser. AlMaghrib does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the platform. Scheduled maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control may cause temporary unavailability. AlMaghrib will endeavour to communicate planned downtime in advance where practicable.
AlMaghrib is not liable for any loss or disruption arising from technical failures, internet outages, device incompatibility, or your inability to access the platform for any reason outside AlMaghrib’s direct control.
- Course Content and Updates
AlMaghrib reserves the right to update, modify, withdraw, or replace course content at any time. Where a course you have purchased is withdrawn entirely, AlMaghrib will endeavour to provide equivalent replacement content or a credit. AlMaghrib is not obligated to maintain any specific version of course content indefinitely.
Course content reflects the knowledge and views of the relevant instructor at the time of recording. AlMaghrib does not guarantee that course content is current, complete, or free from error for every student’s individual circumstances.
- Account Termination by AlMaghrib
AlMaghrib may suspend or terminate your account for the following reasons: breach of these Terms; fraudulent, abusive, or illegal use of the platform; non-payment; shared or unauthorised account use; or conduct incompatible with the values of AlMaghrib. Where termination is for breach, no refund will be issued.
AlMaghrib will provide notice of termination where reasonably practicable except where immediate termination is required to protect the platform or other users.
- Account Deletion and Data
To request full deletion of your account and personal data, email online@almaghrib.org with “Account Deletion Request” in the subject line. Account deletion removes your access to all content, including any lifetime-access courses. AlMaghrib will retain financial and payment records for the period required by applicable accounting and tax law regardless of account deletion.
- Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AlMaghrib’s total liability in connection with AlMaghrib Online is limited to the subscription fees paid by you in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. AlMaghrib is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses including loss of data, loss of income, or loss of educational opportunity.
Nothing in these Terms excludes AlMaghrib’s liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Your statutory rights are not affected.
- Consumer Rights
United Kingdom: the Consumer Rights Act 2015 applies to digital content purchased by UK consumers. Digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If it is not, you have the right to a repair, replacement, or in some circumstances a refund. The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 right of withdrawal applies as set out in Section 5.
Canada: applicable provincial consumer protection legislation applies. Nothing in these Terms removes statutory rights under Canadian provincial law, including rights under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act 2002 or Quebec consumer protection legislation.
California, United States: California residents have rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA. AlMaghrib does not sell personal information. Contact info@almaghrib.org with “California Privacy Request” in the subject line to exercise CCPA/CPRA rights.
Texas, United States: Texas residents have rights under the TDPSA (effective July 2024). Contact info@almaghrib.org with “Texas Privacy Request” in the subject line.
Australia: the Australian Consumer Law applies. Digital content must be of acceptable quality and as described. Statutory guarantees cannot be excluded by contract.
- Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. For UK consumers, the laws of England and Wales apply and nothing in these Terms removes rights under UK consumer protection legislation. For Canadian consumers, applicable provincial law applies.
- Changes to These Terms
AlMaghrib reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. For material changes that affect your rights, active subscribers will be notified by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of AlMaghrib Online after notification of a material change constitutes acceptance. The current Terms are always available at almaghrib.online/terms-conditions/.
