Surat Al-Nūr is the Chapter of Light and the Quran is the light of Allah. Just like you wouldn’t use a flashlight when the sun is out, when the Quran shed’s its light on a matter, all other forms of light are unnecessary.

The prophet (S) listed the most major sins in order as shirk, murder, and zina.
